STRICKUN is a 3 piece Heavy Rock/Metal Band from Buff Point on the Central Coast. The band formed in 2007 and has been thumping out great music together enjoying the experience and mateship. STRICKUN provides a mix of music that is difficult to put into a genre. Their heavy rock and metal influences do shine through in anything they produce and they have an appreciation for all music and treat it with respect.
With weaving guitar riffs into pounding drum and bass being pushed from a force of leadership vocals, STRICKUN gives you a dynamic performance “live” as well as an experience when listening to the recorded material.
STRICKUN recently took out a Heat of The Battle Of The Bands at The Coast Hotel at Budgewoi and were a close runner-up in the final.
STRICKUN will be performing at Woy Woy Leagues Club on Thursday December 1, supporting the huge show as DARK CELL are launching their new album on the night.

Our second guest in the studio tonight is PETE STEFANSON from PETER STEFANSON MUSIC. Pete is a highly talented singer/songwriter from Newcastle who has a passion for expressing his music through words and his music is created from love and life.
Having built his profile by performing regularly at venues throughout Newcastle and The Hunter Region, it is now time for Peter to share his original songs to a broader audience. Peter has a repertoire of well over 500 songs from various genres, he has even released three cover albums, from easy listening to rock n roll to Christmas songs.
Pete’s original CDs make for fascinating listening and his “live” performances encourage audience interaction and he finds a place in everyone’s heart through his music.

Our third gusts in the studio tonight, TANGERINE DREAMS, brings together some local highly talented individuals. The lineup also “swaps duties” during performances offering a wide variety of options, not just instrumentally, but vocally, with KATE KEIGHRAN and LUCAS ADAMS sharing the lead vocal duties.
TANGERINE DREAMS is a 4 piece Blues Rock/Surf Rock band focussing on originals, throwing in a variety of some of the classics from four decades of music from the 60’s to now.
TANGERINE DREAMS will be at the Coast Hotel Budgewoi this Saturday Night, November 26, launching their debut EP and will be supported by special guests DUSTY BOOTS and JYE SHARPE.

Newcastle people can head south a little and come to The Coast Hotel at Budgewoi on Thursday Night for VIBES. One of your favourite bands, JACKSON, led by ace guitarist DANNY JACKSON, is performing as part of the VIBES PROGRAM. 3 Bands for FREE this Thursday Night, first solo artist from 6.30pm, then THE LITTLE QUIRKS followed by JACKSON.
With Aussie Ossie Radio, we have regular weekly programs, including Locals Only on a Monday Night which presents 3 hours of music from bands and artists from the Central Coast/Lake Macquarie/Newcastle areas. Locals’ music is also played throughout the week in various playlists on the station. Some other programs are Pedal To The Metal (Metal Show) 10pm on Thursdays, This Is Australia (60s, 70s, 80’s) 11am on Saturdays, High Noon Country on Sundays at 12noon and Blues and Roots on Sunday Night from 8.30pm
