Beloved television duo, Dr Chris and Dr Xand van Tulleken, will hit Newcastle next year with their latest stage production, Operation Ouch Live: Quest for the Jurassic Fart!
Known for their fun and informative science show Operation Ouch!, the duo will hit the stage at Civic Theatre Newcastle in January with a dino-sized adventure filled with explosive experiments and prehistoric laughs.
The show promises to unearth the “most dangerous, most powerful, most important fart in history” with brand-new experiments that will take the audience back to the age of dinosaurs. It’s a blend of science and comedy that offers a mad-cap and educational look at the world of ancient creatures and their mysterious bodily functions.
Dr Chris and Dr Xand, both Oxford University-trained doctors, are no strangers to combining science with entertainment. Dr Chris is a specialist in infectious diseases and a renowned science presenter, while Dr Xand focuses on public health and humanitarian work. Together, they have made science fun and accessible for children through 12 seasons of Operation Ouch! and numerous television specials. Their live shows are packed with interactive demonstrations and gross-out moments!
