WHAT THEY’RE LOOKING FOR?
The production team are looking for an ensemble of 18 strong (and brave) singers between the ages of 18 and 40 to fill all roles in the show.
This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a highly experienced and professional production team on a show that was all about making a statement. If you have ever felt like there is something.
Hair is the musical story of a group of hippies who celebrate peace and love in the shadow of the Vietnam War. The loose plotline centers on Berger, the charismatic leader of the “tribe,” and Claude, a sweet-natured guy from Queens who’s about to be drafted. But the real star of Hair is the rocking score, which includes such classic hits as “Let the Sun Shine In,” “Aquarius,” “Good Morning Starshine” and of course “Hair”
WHAT ABOUT THE NUDE SCENE?
Hair was renowned for its iconic nude scene. However, please do not let his element of the production discourage you from auditioning. We encourage ALL performers to attend an audition to meet the team, get a feel for the style of the show and talk about what you are comfortable with on stage.
