After five dazzling years of celebrating art, music, and performance, Cabaret Eclectique is closing its curtain — but the show goes on. The beloved series, known for its eclectic blend of burlesque, cabaret, and creative expression, is handing the reins to a new generation of local producers.

Among those stepping into the spotlight is Lilith Von Dahlia — a famed femme fatale with over 14 years in the burlesque industry and a long-time cabaret eclectique favourite. Fresh from representing Newcastle in the prestigious Mxiss Burlesque Australia competition, Lilith is returning to produce new shows across Newcastle and the Central Coast.

Alongside her Mx Burlesque Australia production work, Lilith is also embracing a new role as a coach and mentor, sharing her hard-won experience with emerging performers. As one creative era ends and another begins, Lilith Von Dahlia stands as both a torchbearer and inspiration for the region’s thriving performance scene.

Cabaret Eclectique Producer, Ms Eclectique, has enjoyed her time producing her favourite genre, adult variety shows, with performances ranging from burlesque to thought-provoking theatre pieces and erotic poetry. While she will miss the talented performers she has worked with, Ms Eclectique is looking forward to time spent in the audience.

A last-minute change of venue could have spelled chaos for An Eclectique Halloween, but thanks to the incredible support of the Flamingos Live team, the show is going on — and shone and will shine brighter than ever.

An Eclectique Halloween: The final Halloween spectacular plays Flamingos Live (31 Morehead St, Lambton) on Saturday 1 November, with doors from 6.30 pm. Strictly 18+. The venue is wheelchair accessible. Tickets are available now via Flamingos Live.
