The Maitland road eatery, located inside the Newcastle Hotel, has been busy in the test kitchen cooking up a very naughty treat to feast on during the national day of mourning.
The Newy Fried Chicken house-made Pluto Pup features a chicken sausage with spinach & feta all wrapped up in a light and crispy batter served, as history dictates, on a stick.
You can dip your pup into the classic carnival condiment, some Tommy sauce, or go full flavour bomb and try out Newy Fried Chicken’s tender sauce – A sweet, bbq, mustard concoction.
It’s big childhood vibes, with a gourmet twist.
While Newy Fried Chicken’s opening hours will be adjusted (check their Facebook page for info), these bad boys will be available this Thursday only for both lunch and dinner service or until sold out.
