Award-nominated comedians, Raw Comedy finalists and musical comedy will share the stage this weekend when Doing Great (Considering) lands at Newcastle Comedy Club for a one-hour showcase packed with stand-up, storytelling and songs.
The Newcastle Comedy Festival showcase brings together Brandon Duff, Huw Rogers and Scott Fowler, with each performer offering a distinctly different take on life’s beautifully chaotic moments.
Audiences can expect a mix of sharp observations, personal stories and original musical comedy, creating an evening that promises plenty of laughs from three unique comedic voices.
Scott Fowler’s set blends deadpan delivery with observational humour, turning his own personal disasters and everyday victories into witty social commentary.
Huw Rogers brings dry, tightly crafted stand-up inspired by the realities of living with blindness, exploring everything from uncomfortable encounters to the everyday ironies that often go unnoticed.
Rounding out the bill is Brandon Duff, whose charismatic musical comedy combines original songs with playful parodies and a cheeky sense of humour.
The result is a performance designed to leave audiences laughing long after the final note.
Doing Great (Considering) will be performed at Newcastle Comedy Club, 139 Maitland Road, Islington, on Sunday 2 August from 5pm to 6pm. Tickets can be reserved through the Newcastle Comedy Club website.
