Doggone it, the Dog Day Festival will make a grand return to the Lass O’ Gowrie Hotel this October.
During the day organisers are promising a howling good time for the entire family, with a kid-friendly atmosphere, an array of food and drinks, vibrant stalls, DJs and live bands.
And, of course, it wouldn’t be a Dog Day Festival without a few furry friends around, so you can bring your best mate along for the celebration too.
As the sun sets though you can send the kids home and get ready for some after-dark entertainment including a lineup of DJs, drag perfumers and burlesque talent.
It’s a paws-itively packed lineup too. Some of the performers taking to the stage on the day include DJ Rachel Maria Cox, Lachlan X Morris, Foxxe Faux and Pole Dance Dave.
The whole thing is in aid of raising much-needed funds for Dog Rescue Newcastle, a nonprofit organisation dedicated to creating the Hunter’s First No Kill Shelter.
