Newcastle Winter Fun Fest will take over Nobby’s Beach Reserve later this month with an array of icy delights and thrilling adventures you won’t want to miss.
Organisers of the event promise a winter paradise for thrill seekers and families alike over two massive weeks from 29 June until 16 July.

Whether you’re a seasoned skater or a beginner, the Ice Skating rink at Winter Fun Fest will be the number one attraction on everyone’s to-do list in Newcastle this winter. Each ice skating session ticket includes helmets and ice skates and you can hire a Penguin Skating Aid for little ones who need a little help on the ice.

Winter Fun Fest Rides
Newcastle Winter Fun Fest will feature a stack of rides for Thrill seekers like the spinning Freak Out and the towering Aviator. And family favourites like the dodgem cars, spinning teacups and Kids Roller Coaster will no doubt have the little one pestering for “just one more ride”. Coupons for all the rides will be available for purchase on-site.
Food & Sweet Treats
Grab the kids and treat the whole family to an assortment of dining options including Mexican Cantina, Street Boss Mediterranean Food, Kebabs and Lebanese food, Twisted Chips on a stick, Woodfire Pizza and not to mention hot coffee and beverages as well as loaded cheesecake, churros, gelato, ice cream and of course the family favourites of dagwood dogs, chips, slushies and so much more.
Local kids’ entertainment group “Little Scallywagz” will be joining the festivities with roaming shows and craft activities. With over 15 years of experience in children’s entertainment, the group are experts in sparking imagination and spontaneous fun through the magic of song and dance.
