A school in Newcastle has been selected to participate in an NSW Health Pathology study which will see staff and students trialling rapid antigen testing at home.
Philip Fielden, Director of Strategy and Performance at Newcastle Grammar, will oversee the trial at the school involving 200 students and teachers.
He says that it was a very easy decision for the School when they were asked to pilot the trial with dozens of schools in the region being forced to close since reopening as a result of local exposures.
