The travelling troubadour, Beans On Toast, will bring his new album Kill Them with Kindness to The Hamilton Station Hotel this weekend, joined by longtime friend and songwriting favourite Will Varley.
A staple of the UK festival circuit and a fixture at Glastonbury for two decades, Beans On Toast has built a reputation on songs that celebrate the human spirit while tackling the dilemmas of the modern world.
His blend of humour, honesty and unvarnished social commentary has earned him a global following, and his affection for Australia has turned his visits into an annual tradition.
This will mark his fourth year touring the country in a row, a run that has seen him play to increasingly packed rooms and cement his status as an adopted local favourite.
His commitment to connecting with audiences, whether through everyday observations, political reflections or tales of late-night adventures, continues to make his shows a standout on the live circuit.
The tour arrives on the heels of his latest album, recorded with The Beans On Toast Band at Greenmount Studios in Leeds.
The record spans everything from the chaos of global leadership and the rise of AI to stories about trees, beloved pets and nights out. It’s a project shaped by handpicked musical collaborators and crafted with the warmth and candour fans have come to expect.
Joining him on the road is Will Varley, a masterful songwriter in his own right and a longtime touring companion. Though this marks Varley’s first trip to Australia, he’ll bring with him a catalogue of thoughtful, witty and lyrically rich songs that have earned him acclaim across the UK and beyond.
Beans On Toast and Will Varley play The Hamilton Station Hotel on Sunday, 11 January 2026 from 7pm. For more information and to grab your tickets, head to our gig guide!
