NO LAUGHING MATTER: Newcastle Comedy Festival postponed

Andrew Milos, Newcastle Comedy Festival director has released a statement regarding the 2020 Newcastle Comedy Festival.

It is with a heavy heavy heart that we announce that the in the interest of safety for our communities Newcastle Comedy Festival won’t be going ahead in May.

But not all is bad news..

We have been working closely with the City of Newcastle and we will be postponing to NOVEMBER 21 and 22.

All ticket purchases from the current shows will be valid for then so please hang on to them as these shows were both filling up.

Refunds can be accessed via Ticketek.

More now then ever we need a laugh and these shows will be a coming-out party for Newcastle, promising to deliver the biggest month of comedy ever on show in Newcastle.

2 massive unique nights at the Civic Theatre featuring dazzling line-ups and solo shows.

We want to thank the everlasting support of our sponsors City Of Newcastle, Newcastle Live and the agents plus performers that are working around the clock to get these shows back on track.

Love you Newcastle, we are not going anywhere!

Andrew – Festival Director
