Twenty one of the best DJs from around town have been battling it out over the last 5 weeks at the Bar on the Hill as part of the National Campus DJ Comp. And for good reason too, the winner of the comp will secure a paid performance at UON Autonomy Day and a Media Promotion Pack and mentoring sponsored by Launch Agency. Plus they head off to the State Final to compete against the finest student DJs in NSW. The final of the comp is happening this Friday, May 27 at 7pm at the Bar on the Hill!
The level of the competition has been outstanding with heats including former winners and the winner of this yearโs Defqon 1 Australia DJ Contest, The Disciple.

DJ Oliver Twist – Progressive Psytrance

DJ Oliver Twist: “My DJ experience began when I was 15 when I purchased my first midi controller. Growing up on the mid-north coast I quickly became part of the local doof scene and I have been playing progressive pystrance ever since”

COSTA: “22 years old, born and raised in Newcastle, have played in bands, I have been DJing for 3 years and have experience in weddings, 21st/18th birthdays, engagement parties, pubs, clubs, bush festivals and Uni events. Approachable and nice”
