Naomi Mourra, who claims to be Sydney’s only Lebanese, lesbian, ex-Jehovah’s Witness, comedian, is headed to town for the 2023 Newcastle Fringe Festival in March.
The show Naomi will bring with her to the festival, Work Hacks From The Holy Book, promises to hand down some absolute truths about working smarter, not harder, from the big man himself – God.
From all accounts, it’s a show for anyone who’s ever found themselves working furiously right just before the deadline, struggling with office politics, and wondering how they will ever get ahead.
Naomi knows a few things about working hard too. When she isn’t busy scouring the bible for work hacks, she’s running What She Said, Sydneyโs first weekly all-women’s comedy night, which she co-founded and co-produced, and working at Sydney’s first bubble waffle cafe in Manly.
Work Hacks From The Holy Book is just one of the great comedy productions ready to tickle your funny bone at this year’s Newcastle Fringe Festival which is happening from 9 until 19 March 2023.
You can catch Naomi Mourra’s Work Hacks From The Holy Book show at Brunker Community Theatre on 17, 18 and 19 March. Head to newcastlefringe.com.au for tickets.
