The Very Popular Theatre Company will bring an extraordinary musical experience to the Civic Theatre next year called, Superstars.
Featuring Marina Prior, Silvie Paladino, Chloé Zuel, and Joshua Robson, this once-in-a-lifetime spectacle will hit the stage in Newcastle for four unforgettable performances in March 2024.
Together, the four superstars of musical theatre will pay tribute to the genius of legends Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice.
The show will feature hits from beloved musicals of the 20th century, including Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Starlight Express, Aida, Chess, Mamma Mia, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Sunset Boulevard, The Phantom of the Opera and many more.

Directed by Erin James and featuring musical direction from ARIA nominee Dan Wilson, Superstars will see the four leads joined by local talents Katie Blaxland, Tayla Choice, Thomas James, Jon Murphy, Layla Schillert, Amy Vee, Marty Worrall, and Theo Williams.
Supported by a 100-voice mass choir and the Hunter Pops Orchestra the show will also feature choreography designed by Lauren Harvey from the National College of Dance.
