Merewether’s Modus Brewing has taken out a top 30 spot in one of the world’s biggest craft beer polls.
Announced over the weekend, the 2022 GABS Hottest 100 named the Modus Cerveza as one of Australia’s favourites
With hundreds of breweries from across Australia and thousands of incredible craft beers to choose from, it’s quite an honour to even make the list let alone be announced at number 30.
The poll first started back in 2008 asking craft beer lovers around the country to select their five favourite craft beers of the year.
Each year the results are tallied up and the top 100 are released.
It’s a list that has become a bible for many craft beer lovers giving them a checklist of new brews to try.
Modus says their Cerveza was inspired by coastal Mexico and brewed with high-quality, traditional Mexican ingredients.
They describe it as a “Frosty, light-bodied lager with a crisp citrus finish”. And say you should serve it with a fresh lime wedge.
