You and your doggo are invited to the Million Paws Walk in Newcastle

Million Paws Walk is happening in Newcastle on Sunday 20 May! Local families and their beloved fur babies will join thousands of people all across Australia as we walk together to fight animal cruelty.

The Million Paws Walk will take place in over 17 different locations across New South Wales this year, with the local event taking place at Newcastle Foreshore Park.

Million Paws Walk is RSPCA NSW’s largest annual event, where 100 per cent of funds raised by participant fundraising, event activities, donations and merchandise sales go directly towards helping animals in need. Funds raised will help care for the more than 33,000 animals who enter RSPCA NSW shelters every year after being abandoned, neglected or surrendered. Your hard-earned fundraising will also be put towards keeping our inspectors on the road and making sure we can continue our education and community support programs.

So, put on your walking shoes and come down for a day of fun activities, competitions, food, new friends, and of course, a great walk! Even if you don’t have a pooch of your own, we guarantee there will be plenty for you to play with on the day. What better way to spend a Sunday than having fun, hanging out with thousands of dogs and helping animals?

WHERE: Newcastle Foreshore Park, Newcastle East
WHEN: Sunday 20 May 2018 from 8:30 am (Walk Starts at 10:00 am)
