Round four of the Toyota Gazoo Racing series is happening this weekend at the iconic Sandown Raceway.
And now we have skin in the game, with Newcastle Live now sponsoring the Michael Sherwell Racing team, we’re keen to hear how the team are preparing for the big event.
Check out the pre-race report below.

The showdown at Sandown!
While Bathurst does hold a special place in Australian motorsport, Sandown is not far behind.
Michael Sherwell Racing team will be part of the full Supercars experience across the weekend and we Can. Not. Wait.
We all remember the Sandown 500, usually held before the Bathurst 1000, racing well in those two was the making of many drivers. With 13 turns and just over 3kms of track, it has enough tight sections to narrow the field, but some big straights are ideal for the Toyota 86!
We have never been better prepared.
A huge learning curve and success too at Townsville, followed by some fine-tuning in the NSW Production Touring Division D, including our first pole and victory.
Keep your eye on Newcastle Live to check out some photos from the event.
