Michael Bublé was set to kick off his six-city national tour in Newcastle later this month but has now rescheduled just three weeks out from the show.
In a statement, Michael blamed “Global logistical issues” for the decision.
“Despite our best efforts, my team and I have come to realize that Global logistical issues have made it impossible for us to deliver the show that I feel Australians deserve,” the statement said.
“Although it’s incredibly disappointing for all of us, I wanted to be transparent with you and hope you can understand what a difficult decision this was to make.”
Tickets purchased for the show meant to hit the stage at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre on Wednesday, 30 November 2022, are now valid for a rescheduled date in June 2023.
Bublé fans unable to attend the new date should lodge a refund request at ticketek.com.au by Thursday 8 December 2022.
The new tour dates will see the superstar perform selections from his 11th studio album, Higher, and a selection of his original hits alongside his trademark innovative takes on the great classics.
Michael Bublé will now perform at Newcastle Entertainment Centre on Thursday, 1 June 2023. Tickets and refund information can be found at ticketek.com.au.
