Maitland will host a street party next weekend complete with a pop-up microbrewery, food trucks and live music.
The Levee Shared Zone, between Bulwer and Elgin Street in Central Maitland, will come alive on Sunday afternoon and kick on into the evening.
Party-goers can tuck into some tasty treats, with food trucks serving everything from Vietnamese and American cuisine to refreshing gelato and many local eateries.
You’ll be able to wash all that down with some locally brewed beer, from Aberglasslyn-based microbrewery The Dusty Miner, whose pop-up bars are always a crowd-pleaser.
Local artist Dave Wells will provide the soundtrack for the party alongside Steel Guitar Trio The High Andies.

“Iโve spent the last few years working on new material, out of a studio in Byron Bay with American producer Nick DiDia โ itโs a real mix of emotive alt-rock, and darker, more acoustic tracks that are sonically sparse,” Dave said.
“Working with Nick was a great experience. We took a live, simplistic approach that focused purely on the uniqueness, emotive character and sonic delivery of each song.
“So get on your dancing shoes, and join me and The High Andies for four hours of great tunes during LIVE at The Levee.”
The Live at The Levee street party kids off at 4:30 pm on Sunday 26 February. Visit thelevee.com.au to find out more.
