Maitland is preparing to ring in the new year with an evening of family-friendly fun, community connection and… Fireworks!
The celebration will take place along the scenic Levee Riverbank, offering locals and visitors a chance to bid farewell to 2024 with a bang!
Families can enjoy a variety of amusements and face painting at the Riverside car park and RH Taylor Reserve in Lorn, while the riverbank in Maitland will buzz with lawn games, live music, and food trucks.
The fireworks display will light up the night sky at the family-friendly time of 9pm.
“New Year’s Eve in Maitland has become a fun-filled tradition in the events calendar, bringing our community together to reflect on the past year and look forward to what’s ahead,” Maitland Mayor Philip Penfold said.
“With live music, great food and an incredible fireworks display, it’s the perfect way to celebrate with family and friends in a vibrant atmosphere and enjoy all Maitland has to offer.”
