Described as the most ambitious sci-fi film ever produced in Australia, Occupation: Rainfall was released on DVD, Blu-Ray, and streaming last week in Australia. And as regular listeners would know from our LA correspondent Zac Garred; it has been making a killing in the US.
The brains behind the Occupation franchise, Novocastrian-born Luke Sparke, joined Tracy Mac on Newcastle Live Radio this week to talk about how the movies have performed in Australia and spill the beans on when filming starts on the third movie. Luke says he is even considering shooting it here in the Hunter!
