Crowne Plaza and Sydney Brewery Hunter Valley have joined forces to create the Lovedale Bar + Grill which launched this week and is now open for business to locals and resort guests.
Executive Chef, Jason Hawker has been given the opportunity to create a food experience at Lovedale Bar + Grill that pairs with the craft beers and ciders that are produced in the onsite brewery.
“This new menu was inspired by the local region and everything Sydney Brewery Hunter Valley has to offer,” Executive Chef, Jason Hawker said.
With a focus on grills and classic bistro favourites, many dishes on the menu, including the Australian Mountain Pepper Lamb Rump with sautéed rainbow chard & Sydney Brewery lager gravy, use the beer from on-site brewery to create some amazing infused flavours.
“By partnering with our on-site brewery Sydney Brewery Hunter Valley, we can offer a unique range of delicious food with some fresh, locally brewed beers and ciders that locals and guests from out of town have been raving about,” Crowne Plaza Area General Manager, Gareth Long said.
“We realise the importance of providing world-class hospitality in the Hunter Valley and we believe this reimagined offering of the Lovedale Bar + Grill positions our resort as the go-to destination for delicious food and drink when visiting wine country.”
The Lovedale Bar + Grill also offers up a tasty cocktail menu (try the Sydney Cider Knocker with a mix of Vodka, Strawberry Liqueur, Lemon Juice and Sydney Brewery Apple Cider) and a vast wine offering that showcases some of the best Hunter Valley wines on offer.
“We had an awesome time creating the new menu and are very excited for both guests and the local region to see what all the fuss is about,” Jason added.
