Newcastle Rugby League will move their 2021 Grand Final from McDonald Jones Stadium.
CEO Charlie Haggett says the game will now be played at either Maitland or Cessnock following the extension of the lockdown in the Hunter. They have also opted to cancel a significant end of the season awards ceremony and there will be no player of the year for 2021.
