Brian Lizotte has today announced that his beautifully restored 200-plus seat art deco theatre in Lambton is now on the market.
“We have put an incredible amount of time thinking and talking about this and have realised that our growing family is now to be our main focus,” Brian said.
“It is our hope to pass this iconic beautiful old venue with its world-class entertainment and fine cuisine baton onto a fabulous new operator. Someone that will continue to offer the Newcastle community and beyond more world-class entertainment and hospitality for the years to come.
“Most importantly we also want to mention we will be continuing to book acts as we have always done for the time being and all shows that are currently on sale will be going ahead.
“Finally, weโd like to thank our incredible and loyal staff over the years that have helped Jo and I create one of the most special world renown Dinner show Venues right here in Newcastle something we are very proud of.
“We so look forward to the doors of future opportunities to fly open. For now, it is business as usual, and we look forward to seeing you all soon.”

The venue was originally used as a picture and vaudeville theatre but has operated as one of Australiaโs most iconic dinner show and music venues since Brian took it over in 2009.
In that time Lizotte’s has created unforgettable memories for music fans all around the Hunter.
The stage has seen performances from the likes of Mick Fleetwood, Macy Gray, Jimmy Barnes, Keith Urban, Diesel, Kasey Chambers, Ian Moss and Daryl Braithwaite alongside some of the most celebrated Australian artists.
Lizotteโs has also nurtured local up-and-coming artists with their weekly Live n’ Local showcases.
So, if you’re up for buying one of the Hunter’s most loved music venues, now’s your chance. For sale or lease enquiries please contact Luke Rutledge or Nick Christensen at colliers.com.au.
