Iconic English rock band Smokie is heading to Newcastle this October as part of their massive 50th-anniversary All the Greatest Hits Tour, with decades of nostalgia and chart-topping hits in tow.
This tour is set to feature anthems that defined the 1970s and beyond, including Lay Back in the Arms of Someone, Needles and Pins, I’ll Meet You at Midnight, and of course, the setlist wouldn’t be complete without Living Next Door to Alice, which has sold over 10 million copies worldwide and remains a fan favourite.
Renowned for their signature harmonies and unmistakable soft-rock sound, Smokie has maintained a strong connection with Australian audiences over the years.
Their compilation album All the Best was a massive success, selling 230,000 copies in Australia alone. This tour will give Newcastle fans a rare opportunity to experience the band’s timeless sound live and celebrate their lasting impact on the music industry.
