A Belmont woman has picked up a cool $200,000 in the latest Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
The lucky resident, who prefers to remain anonymous, clinched the picked up the win alongside a $1,000 consolation prize.
“I can’t believe it! I feel like it’s unreal! I’m just doing the housework,” she said.
“I’ve been playing for a while. I just feel, why not? Everyone has a chance to win. It could be me.
“I’m thinking about all the things I can do. I’d love to pay off the mortgage and I’d also love to see some family members who live overseas that I haven’t seen in five years. It would be a long overdue family reunion!”
Her winning entry, comprising five consecutive numbers, was purchased at Belmont City News and Gifts at Primewest Belmont Citi Centre.
“I was so excited when I heard that we had sold a division one winning ticket. I called out to my husband to tell him,” Lisa Sinclair, the owner of Belmont City News and Gifts said.
“We are blessed to have the best friends here at Belmont, and we are so excited that one of them is $200,000 richer today.”
