It’s one of the most attended public events in Lake Macquarie with people coming far and wide. Lake Mac Carols by Candlelight at Speers Point Park is back for 2019 and we’ve got all the info you need to make the most of it!
ENTERTAINMENT & MARKETS
Kicking off at 6 pm this year’s event will feature entertainment for both the young and young at heart. Homegrown Markets, the people behind market days at The Station in Newcastle, will also be on hand from 4 pm until 8 pm on the day with food trucks serving up festive fare throughout the evening.
CAROLS
Featuring The Voice finalists Lara D and Sarah De Bono and a special appearance by Santa this year’s event is shaping up to be one of the best yet. Radio 2HD host Richard King will provide MC duties with a performance by Golden Guitar-winner Troy Kemp also on the lineup.
The Pacific Harmony Choir will also be on hand to lead you in all your favourite Christmas Carols, so bring your best singing voices!
FIREWORKS
The Fireworks finale will light up the sky above the lake from 9 pm.
PARKING
Limited parking will be available at the venue, with further free off-street parking nearby off Lakeview Street in Speers Point.
