If you’ve been looking for an excuse to check out the new, live music-focused, fit-out of King Street then you’re in luck.

There are a stack of great gigs coming up at the venue in the new band room and the warehouse.

Here are three we think you should have on your list over the next couple of months.

Henry Wagons & Leroy Macqueen
Warehouse
Friday – 11 August 2023

If you’re getting all nostalgic for The Cambridge, then a night in The Warehouse at King Street is what you’re looking for. The Warehouse features a bunch of memorabilia from the old venue including that impressive collection of signed drumheads.

And this gig is going to be full tilt too. Henry’s shows are always a good time and supporting the local leg of this tour is hometown hero, and Gooch Palm, Leroy Macqueen.

Unwritten Law
Band Room
Saturday – 12 August 2023

Why not back up the Friday night with Henry and Roy upstairs with a sneaky look at the new band room with Californian punks Unwritten Law on stage?

Having spent nearly a decade alongside his brother and bassist Jonny Grill, founding drummer Wade Youman, and guitarists Chris Lewis and Scotty Mac are reportedly putting on one hell of a show at the moment which will be made even more special as you find the perfect position in the new room.

Magic Dirt
Warehouse
Friday – 15 September 2023

Here’s one for the Mums and Dads who used to enjoy $1 shots at the Cambo.

Check out Magic Dirt amongst all the memories from the old venue in the Warehouse on the band’s national tour commemorating the 25th anniversary of their acclaimed second album, Young And Full Of The Devil.
