The new Light rail is officially in full swing and despite some minor hiccups along the way, things seem to be rolling along nicely. No matter what your views on the light rail are, there have been some great initiatives including our personal favourite… books.
We know many of you will be pretty sceptical about trying the new light rail, but maybe the thought of finding your next great read on the seat next to you might be just the thing to tip you over the line.
Books you say? Yes books, Secret Books in fact. Run by bibliophiles Amy and Laura, Secret Book Stuff is a kindness project set to spread a love of literature and create a little more magic in the world.
Now now we know what you’re thinking. Surely there has to be some sort of catch right? Well partner that’s where you’re wrong. Like we said, Secret Book Stuff is a kindness project after all and random acts of such kindness really do exist, we promise. Oh and for the environmentally inclined, each book is wrapped in 100% recycled materials and the book itself has most likely passed through many a hand before making its way to you.
We think you should all take a little time to get lost in some pages. Especially whilst we’re commuting. What better way to escape the daily grind than to go and fight some dragons, or save the planet or maybe just live the life of someone who isn’t you for a mere five minutes?
