Entrepreneurial kids in Lake Macquarie will get the chance to bring their ideas to life thanks to an exciting school holidays workshop.
Presented by Kid Biz Academy, the workshop is suitable for children aged 9 to 15 years old and will allow them to identify a business idea, develop a plan and then learn about target markets, budgeting and ways to advertise (psst – drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org).
Everything your business-minded young go-getter needs to take part will be provided by the organisers and they’ll even put on a morning tea. The Build your business workshop is part of Lake Macquarie’s lineup of school holiday activities this July.
The holiday program will kick off Monday 3 July, with a free story time and craft session in celebration of NAIDOC week, at Charlestown Library.
Lake Macquarie Mayor Kay Fraser said doing school holiday activities was a great way to meet friends and learn new skills.
“There’s a wonderful range of programs on offer, with exciting things happening all across our city,” she said.
From Star Wars-inspired Lego workshops to printmaking for beginners, the calendar features something happening for all ages and interests.
The Build your business workshop will be held at SEEN@Swansea on Saturday 15 July. Visit lakemac.com.au for more information.
