The Newcastle community is coming together in a big way for Keg 4 Fleggy, a heartfelt fundraiser at The Ship Inn supporting legendary local artist and writer Sophia Flegg, who recently lost everything in an apartment fire.
Live music will keep spirits high all evening, with local favourites Baam Bam, Moxey, and Jen Buxton performing sets throughout the night. Craft brewery Philter is also showing its support by donating a community keg to keep the drinks flowing.
A massive raffle and extra special auction will form the centrepiece of the event, with more than 30 generous local businesses contributing prizes.
From food and drink vouchers to boutique experiences, the haul includes offerings from the likes of Queens Wharf Hotel, Carrington Bowlo, Rydges, Wests, Jams Karaoke, Bartholomew’s, Sanbah Surf, Hamilton Station Hotel, Rudderless Records, Moonshadow Cruises and many more.
The event will be a night of connection, generosity, and good times, raising much-needed funds to help Sophia get back on her feet.
