Katie Noonan will bring her stunning reimagining of Jeff Buckley’s iconic album Grace to Newcastle this November as part of her national tour in celebration of the 30th anniversary of this influential album.
With seven ARIA awards and 29 nominations across various genres, her reworking of Grace follows a series of sold-out performances at Sydney Festival.
The tour is set to feature a mix of the original tracks infused with her unique vocal flair, ensuring a fresh yet respectful homage to Jeff’s unforgettable sound.
As one of Australia’s most revered and versatile artists, Katie has made her mark over a career spanning more than 25 years.
“In 1994, Jeff Buckley’s seminal debut album, Grace, was released into the world. I was 17 and never had I heard a sound world like this, never had I heard a band that unique and never had I heard a voice that expressive, exploratory and exciting,” Katie Noonan said.
“This album is the single biggest influence on my musical journey and was an enormous inspiration for my debut album Polyserena and my 29 subsequent studio albums.”
Joining Katie on the tour is celebrated Australian singer-songwriter Jack Carty, who will support the tour across most of the states. Known for his powerful live shows and extensive songwriting career, he brings his own brand of intimate, folk-inspired music to the stage.
The Newcastle show promises an evening of musical depth, fans can expect to hear the soulful highs and deep vulnerabilities that defined Grace, alongside Katie’s personal connection to the album.
Katie Noonan: Jeff Buckley’s Grace tour will be at the Civic Theatre Newcastle on November 8, 2025. Tickets go on sale to the public on May 26, with Frontier Touring members able to access a presale beginning May 22.
