Next year’s Jazz in The Vineyards will be just the tonic you need, having been renamed the Hunter Valley Gin and Jazz Festival.
The festival, which is on Saturday 10 April, will be a partnership between Hope Estate and the newly-minted Tower Distillery & Winery which launched this week after it’s previous namesake Tower Estate closed its cellar door earlier this year.
Due to a scheduling conflict, Kate Ceberano, who was slated to headline the festival, will not be appearing, however, another act will be announced in the coming weeks.
The line-up is rounded out by John Morrison’s Swing City Band featuring Jacki Cooper, The Aston Martinis and The Djangologists, who pay reverent homage to the master of jazz manouche Django Reinhardt.
The festival will also feature G&T and wine tastings, gin masterclasses, lashings of craft beer, a spot of long lunching, food trucks, boutique markets, a kids’ zone, and busking competition.
In other words, it’s shaping up to be a great day out – especially if you’re a fan of the juniper berry.
Also, those who hold tickets to previous dates can now look forward to five G&T tasting token and one wine tasting token per adult.
The Hunter Valley Gin & Jazz Festival is on at Hope Estate on Saturday 10 April 2021. Head here for more information and tickets.
