Jessica Mauboy will hit the stage at the Civic Theatre in Newcastle in March next year as part of her Yours Forever national tour.
The tour will see the award-winning artist visit regional and metro cities across 22 dates in celebration of her highly anticipated fifth studio album Yours Forever which is set for release in February 2024.
Delving into the realms of love, hope, heartbreak, and strength, the new album promises to showcase Mauboy’s songwriting and captivating pop harmonies.
“At the heart of the record, I wanted to share my experience of unpacking challenging times that we all come up against in life,” Jessica said.
“For me, it was feelings of not being worthy, and coming to a place of knowing, a confirmation that I am enough.”
The first taste of the new record is a collaboration with international superstar Jason Derulo called Give You Love.
Mauboy asked Jason to be a part of the track while filming the upcoming season of The Voice Australia.
“Jason is such an incredible singer and he’s got such a deep soul and spirit. He grew up singing in church and was classically trained, so I had no doubt he would sound amazing on this special song.”
“It was a pleasure working side-by-side with Jess as a coach on The Voice and I feel incredibly blessed that Jess thought of me for this song,” Jason said.
“I had such a blast putting my spin on it and laying down the vocals when I was in Sydney.
