Anglican Care today confirmed two residents and two staff members from Jesmond Grove aged care facility have tested positive for COVID-19.
The positive test follows a facility-wide lockdown and mass testing after a staff member from Jesmond Grove tested positive on 10 August.
Anglican Bishop of Newcastle, Bishop Peter Stuart provided an update to the community speaking with Tracy Mac on Newcastle Live Radio.
