Figures released by the national campaign Everybody’s Home have revealed that between half and three-quarters of renters are living in housing stress in 15 eastern seaboard electorates.
Maitland MP Jenny Aitchison says it’s not a surprise to her with more people contacting her electoral office begging for housing assistance everyday.
