JB Seed germinates a new crop

JBT

A decade after John Butler first announced the JB seed initiative, he will again donate to the Australian business arts Foundation’s Australia Cultural Fund to support new Australian artists.

The JB Seed initiative offers annual funding to a select group of Australian artists to help establish themselves as “self-sustained professionals”. In November 2012 The Seed received DGR status and is now proud to accept income tax deductible donations.

The Seed have a specific focus on music and intend to develop genuine artistic expression both in urban and rural areas of Australia. Through their ongoing workshops they wish to establish a link between the emerging and the established, therefore creating a sense of community. Indigenous culture is also of particular importance to them.
