The Preatures are officially back and have announced that their Blue Planet Eyes 10th Anniversary Tour will finish off at King Street, Newcastle.

It’s a long-awaited return for the Sydney five-piece, marking their first national tour in years and a rare chance to see all original members reunited on stage.

The tour celebrates a decade since the release of Blue Planet Eyes, the band’s breakthrough debut that cemented their place in Australian music history with hits like Is This How You Feel?, Somebody’s Talking, and Better Than It Ever Could Be.

The tour follows a sold-out one-night-only reunion in Sydney last year, which sold out in just six minutes. The energy and emotion of that performance inspired the band to bring the celebration to stages across the country.

Joining the Newcastle leg of the tour is Melbourne indie-rock outfit The Tullamarines, adding to what promises to be an electric evening of live music.

With a lineup that blends legacy and fresh talent, the show is shaping up as both a homecoming and a rebirth for one of Australia’s most beloved bands.

The Preatures’ Blue Planet Eyes 10th Anniversary Tour will hit King Street Band Room on Saturday, 19 August 2025. Tickets go on general sale Friday, 11 April at 9am local time, with presale available from Thursday, 10 April via preatures.com.
