The 2023 Hunter Valley Wine & Beer Festival is shaping up to be an unforgettable day of indulgence, entertainment, and family fun.

This weekend 54 of the Valley’s finest wineries and brewers will showcase their offerings, along with a stack of dining options and live entertainment at Rydges Resort Hunter Valley (formerly Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley).

With the 2023 Hunter Valley vintage one to take note of, you’ll have the opportunity to sample some truly outstanding wines from renowned producers like Drayton’s, Brokenwood, Hungerford Hill, McGuigans, and Pepper Tree.

Additionally, boutique wineries such as Gundog, Gartelman, 1813, and Comyns & Co. will also be there to captivate your taste buds with their unique creations.

For the beer lovers brewers like Block n Tackle Brewery, Shout, and Sydney Brewery will be on-site, offering a wide array of refreshing and flavourful brews to complement your wine-tasting experience.

And to complete the culinary journey, local providores like the Upper Hunter Smokehouse, Donarch Fine Chocolates, and the Hunter Valley Cheese Factory will be there to tempt you with their artisanal foods.

The talented Chloe Gill (check out her Warehouse Session) will kick off the live music with the Felix Quinn Band taking to the stage later in the day.

A family-friendly event, children will receive complimentary entry to the festival and can partake in a variety of activities specially designed for them, including a jumping castle, train rides, and face painting.

This year the event will support the local Rural Fire Service with various fundraising activities planned for the day.

The 2023 Hunter Valley Wine & Beer Festival is happening this Saturday, 24 June. General admission tickets are $15 per person with tastings priced at $2 each for a 30ml wine sample or a 100ml beer/cider sample. For tickets and more information visit huntervalleywinefestival.com.
