Ausmusic T-Shirt Day is back this November as part of Ausmusic Month.
The annual campaign encourages people to show their love for homegrown music and contribute to the well-being of those behind the scenes in the industryโmusicians, crew, and managers who have faced significant challenges, particularly over the past few years.
Funds raised by the campaign will go directly to Support Act, a nonprofit organization providing crisis relief to music industry workers.
Support Act offers a range of services including mental health support, a dedicated First Nations program, and the Support Act Wellbeing Helpline. These initiatives are more crucial than ever as the industry grapples with ongoing financial and emotional strains.
This yearโs Ausmusic T-Shirt Day features a special collection of artist-led designs, with contributions from Paul Kelly, Powderfinger, Angus & Julia Stone, G Flip, and more.
Each shirt is priced at $50, with every cent going directly to Support Act, thanks to sponsors Gildan Brands and Love Police.
In addition to artist tees, special designs pay tribute to women in music and music crews, further broadening the campaign’s impact. Sales will remain open until Friday, 25 October, so thereโs still time to grab your favourite shirt.
Getting involved is easy: purchase a t-shirt, make a donation, or start your own fundraising team. By doing so, youโll help ensure that the Australian music scene continues to thrive while supporting the people who make it happen, even in the toughest of times.
For anyone looking to make a bigger impact, the campaign also encourages group fundraising efforts. Teams from companies such as Sony Music, Warner Music, Spotify, and Young Henrys are already leading the charge, but thereโs still time to join the leaderboard. Whether you’re a business, a group of friends, or just a music lover, contributing as a team can boost your impact and raise even more for the cause. You can find out more here.
Ausmusic T-Shirt Day is happening on Thursday 28 November! You can find out more by visiting ausmusictshirtday.org.au.
