When it comes to the world of iced confection, there are few as popular or as downright delicious as the humble Golden Gaytime.
Well, just when you thought the good folks at Streets could not improve on the Aussie icon, they’ve just gone and bloody well done it!
The ice cream giant has partnered with Adelaide confectioner Robern Menz to unleash the Violet Crumble Gaytime onto the world and we couldn’t be happier.
And it seems that the rest of the country is, to with the announcement making people ‘nuts’ on social media.
An announcement, made on the Violet Crumble Facebook page, consisted of a photo depicting anticipated creation along with the quip: “when two be-crumb on.”
The news was met with a flurry of excitement from sweet tooths with the likes of: “watch me not be able to walk cause of the weight I’m about to put on eating these.”
Another chimed in with an equally excitable: “It doesn’t get any better than this!!”
While there’s no official word on when these sweet, icy morsels will hit shelves it is expected that they will be available by the end of October.
