Monday afternoon saw Federal MP for Newcastle, Sharon Claydon, present a community petition to save GP Access After Hours service to the Australian Parliament.
Ms Claydon says the petition collected 11,100 signatures in just over three weeks proving that the issue is causing considerable angst and concern within the local community with calls for the Federal Government to restore this essential primary healthcare service’s funding.
