The Hamilton Station Hotel is turning the volume up and the clock back with the launch of Full On Arvo, a brand-new daytime music festival set to take over the beloved Beaumont Street venue.

Kicking off from midday and wrapping by 7 PM, the mini-fest offers a fresh take on the traditional live music experience—perfect for punters who want to catch killer sets and still be in bed at a reasonable hour (or out for round two if the mood strikes).

The inaugural lineup is headlined by two powerhouse acts from opposite ends of the East Coast: Melbourne’s genre-defying Cry Club and Brisbane’s emo-laced Bad Neighbour.

Cry Club are riding high off a whirlwind 2024, with a European tour and support gigs alongside The Darkness and Regurgitator under their belt.

Bad Neighbour bring a similarly stacked resume, having rubbed shoulders with emo heavyweights like Spanish Love Songs and Tiny Moving Parts, and made a standout appearance at the Brisbane leg of Good Things Festival.

Backing them up is a stellar cast of local and interstate talent. NSW’s own Amends and Marilyn Maria are set to perform alongside a strong showing from Newcastle’s vibrant scene, with acts like Where’s Jimmy, Catpiss, and Midway representing the city’s next generation of sound.

With three stages in action and a partnership with WA’s Beerfarm brewery to fuel the festivities (responsibly, of course), Full On Arvo is shaping up to be the perfect mix of music and mates before the sun goes down.

The inaugural Full On Arvo is happening on 7 June from 12 PM at The Hamilton Station Hotel. Gather your mates and grab your tickets now by heading to thehamiltonstationhotel.com.
