The Red Hot Summer Tour, featuring an iconic all-Australian line-up, rolled into the Hunter Valley over the weekend and local photographer Juan Mahoney was there to capture it all.
It was a lineup of epic proportions featuring Ausmusic royalty including Paul Kelly, Bernard Fanning, Missy Higgins, Mark Seymour, Vika and Linda and Ian Moss and Troy Cassar-Daley.
“The response to this tour has been extraordinary,” Tour promoter Duane McDonald said.
Highlights of the day included blistering sets from Bernard Fanning and Missy Higgins but it was Paul Kelly and his amazing band that really had the crowd moving.
Working his was through a set packed with some of his most loved songs, Kelly sounded as fresh and important as ever.
