A big congratulations to A Bear in a Man Suit who took out the final of the National Campus Band Competition at the Bar On The Hill on Wednesday Night. They go through to the state final in at Sydney’s UTS tonight and pick up a swag of prizes.
Newcastle Live have been on the judging panel through the heats and it was great to see it culminate in Wednesday nights final. In a perfect world, band competitions are a great litmus test for the local scene. If that’s the case, Newcastle Music is in great hands.
