No fooling Aussie supergroup ARC were in town on Thursday night to celebrate the 50th anniversary of arguably one of the greatest albums of all time – The Beatles’ Abbey Road.
Spiderbait drummer Kram along with You Am I and Powderfinger guitarists Davey Lane, Darren Middleton and Jet bass player Mark Wilson wore their love for the fab four on their collective sleeve as they played to a near-full house at NEX.
The group was made that much more ‘super’ with the addition of vocal powerhouse Linda Bull, Even frontman Ash Naylor, The Pictures’ brett Wolfenden and James Fleming from eagle and the Worm.
ARC ripped through the Abbey Road set (including such icons as Because, I Want You (She’s So Heavy) and Something before a second set that included an all-killer-no filler set of the band’s personal Beatle’s favorites.
Our resident snapper Juan Mahony was there to capture the action. Check out his pics below.
