Newcastle Fringe will kick off its 2025 season with a giant communal banquet in Hamilton called, Fringe Feast.
The event will see Beaumont Street, between Lindsay and Cleary Streets, will be closed to traffic, for the launch event that will celebrate Hamilton’s growing foodie scene and its role as the “epicentre of extraordinary” for Newcastle Fringe.
Local foodies will get the chance to experience a diverse range of local dining options, alongside tantalising snippets of performances from the festival’s program.
Two stages will host a variety of acts, from cabaret and opera to circus and music. The lineup includes The Pretty Amazing Jono, The Alchemy of Arts, Samba Frog, Les Divine Folles ร Newy, Eliane Morel: Love, Drinking and Fairy Tales, and local band, Ruffians. Roving artists will also add to the festive atmosphere.
