Do you know the difference between an ollie and a nollie? Does your execution of a Gazelle Flip leave everyone at the park gasping in slack-jawed amazement?
Well, read on, young shredder.
You see, the Australian Skateboarding Community Initiative – one of the largest skateboarding events and training providers on Oz, in conjunction with Lake Mac Council are hosting the Lake Macquarie Skateboarding Web Championships.
Yep, that’s right and the rules for this one are simple.
All you have to do is record up to five clips that show off your best deck trickery – kickflips, ollies or any flat ground trick that highlights individual style.
Then just head here to register, upload your clips and wait for the kudos to start rolling in!
When you sign up, you will be slotted into your age division and winners will be selected from each group.
Oh, and your trickery will be judged by pro skaters Tommy Fynn, Aimee Massie and Beau Hinge.
Just remember that entrants in junior divisions are required to wear helmets and ALL entrants must follow social distancing and recreational guidelines.
Oh, and don’t skate on the road. Use spaces that are safe, in and around your home as much as possible. You’re going for skating glory, not a spot on Rob Dyrdek’s Ridiculousness.
Prizes of up to $100 in cash will be available for the opens winners as well as vouchers for the junior winners. To find out more or to register head here
Entries close July 31.
