The 2023 Fast and Loud Festival is set to light up Lake Macquarie in October with an incredible lineup of action on and off the water.
Get fast with exhilarating boat races, car shows and a stack of onshore action and turn it up loud with exclusive live performances, markets, roving entertainment, and kid’s activities.

It’s a spectacle you won’t want to miss as these compact yet incredibly powerful boats go full throttle in the Australian Powerboat Grand Prix, set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Macquarie. Get ready to witness the adrenaline-fueled showdown of these watercraft champions!
Skunkhour supported by SF Wrens
Come and enjoy a wonderful night of live music with Skunkhour supported by SF Wrens under the stars at MAP mima in Speers Point Park. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and picnic. There will be a bar on site selling a variety of locally sourced beer, wine and cider as well as soft drinks and snacks including packets of crisps and chocolate bars. A can of beer or a glass of wine is $8. Soft drink is $3 per can and snacks are $3.

Get ready for a spectacular showcase of speed and style at the Show and Shine car display! The BMW Driver’s Club is thrilled to be part of this automotive extravaganza, open to a wide range of vehicles, from vintage classics to muscle cars, custom creations, hot rods, and even motorbikes. Entry to this thrilling event is absolutely free, but make sure to have your display vehicles enter through the main gate on Park Road, right across from the swim center. For other visitors, ample parking is available in the general parking area to the west of the swim center. And that’s not all – on the big day, expect to groove to live music, explore enticing stalls, indulge in delicious food, coffee, and refreshing beverages, all while marveling at an incredible display of speed boat racing on the lake. This promises to be a day of high-octane fun and entertainment that you won’t want to miss!
