Well, never fear because you don’t have to miss out on anything because Jimmy will be streaming both sets right into your lounge room.
Yep, that’s right. On Wednesday 30 September and Thursday 1 October, Jimmy will be in up-close-and-personal acoustic mode on the Lizotte’s stage in what promises to be two nights of unmissable music from one of the most successful artists in the history of Australian popular music.
While no word on what we can expect from these gigs, judging by the musical gems Jimmy and family have been posting to his Facebook page over the past few months, it’s likely we’re in for some surprising treats alongside a smattering of hits from the weighty Cold Chisel and Jimmy Barnes songbooks.
Honestly, though, if you’re looking for a shot of positivity and musical masterfulness, the ‘family jams’ Jimmy has been posting are definitely worth a look.
His stunning renditions of the Bee Gees’ To Love Somebody, and Ray Charles’ melancholic Little Hotel Room are two recent examples.
